Culture Card Ambassador Program

In 2011, Commitee for Melbourne (CfM) has partnered with AFIS to develop the Culture Card Ambassador program with its primary objective to enhance and develop international student engagement with the Culture Card Program.

This may be achieved by, but shall not be limited to, the following activities:

  • Promoting the Culture Card program and its events at education provider campuses to encourage community participation in the program;
  • Proactively liaising with campus-level student associations and student unions to help them and their members better understand and utilize the Culture Card;
  • Organising specific Culture Card events throughout the academic year on / for their campus
  • Contributing creative ideas for Culture Card activities that are student-oriented;
  • Fostering and facilitating greater connectivity between the program and the student community;
  • Playing a supportive or facilitative role at Culture Card events.

 

Who can be an Ambassador?

  • Ambassadors must be currently enrolled in a Victorian educational institution
  • Both international students and domestic students are encouraged to apply
  • Ambassadors must be interested in international student issues.
  • Ambassadors have to apply / or be nominated for the position
  • Upon successful application, students will be required to sign a CCV Volunteer Ambassador Agreement which outlines the roles, responsibilities and time frames of the role.
